Explore America 250

Midwest to the Nation

In 2026, the United States marks 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence — a historic milestone that invites us to reflect, learn, and travel with purpose.

Explore America 250: Midwest to the Nation is a two-year national tourism initiative based in Iowa, designed to connect travelers from the Midwest with the most iconic historical, cultural, and natural destinations across the country.

Throughout 2026 and 2027, we will offer curated multi-day tours across the United States — from the birthplace of American independence in Philadelphia and Boston, to the monuments of Washington, D.C., the battlefields of the Civil War, and the breathtaking landscapes of our national parks.

This campaign is built around three core pillars:

History. Walk through the places where the nation was founded and shaped.
Nature. Experience the grandeur of America’s national parks and protected lands.
Heritage. Discover the stories, communities, and landmarks that define the American journey.

Our tours are designed for families, couples, educators, community groups, and travelers who want more than a vacation — they want context, meaning, and connection.

From Iowa to the nation, we invite you to explore America with intention — and to be part of this historic anniversary through travel that educates, inspires, and unites.

About Me

Hi, I’m Juan, founder of Kairo Travel. I’m a journalist, entrepreneur, and passionate traveler who believes the best trips happen when timing meets clarity.

The name Kairo comes from the Greek concept that meaning the right moment—the moment when everything aligns. That idea guides how I plan travel: choosing not just the right destination, but the right time for you.

I design trips with one goal in mind: remove the stress, handle the logistics, and create experiences that truly fit your life and budget—from simple getaways to complex, multi-city journeys.
